I really enjoyed my first class in Arabic today. It was simply wonderful to get in touch with a new language and first if all a new script. Did you know that "hobby" is an Arabic word? It means "my love"... amazing!

I just finished reading The Painted Veil by Somerset Maugham: so much more painful than the movie (which I still like very much), because the book fully embraces the human fallibility. One might even learn something about love. Definitely worth reading!

Right in the middle of my exam preparations and lectures rehearsel a creative force graps me and I start working on a new website design. Occasionally I even get lost in pictures... better get back to the books now.
